It breaks my heart to see so many of us live for too long believing the lies that we’re literally being sold, day after day.
Believing we aren’t good enough.
Believing that what we look like is wrong.
Believing that we can find our answers in the perfect body, the perfect house with the white picket fence and 2.5 kids, the perfect wardrobe, the perfect car, the perfect possessions.
We are not going to find happiness in a different body any more than we would find it in a different life.
What we have right now is already enough. Who we are right now is already enough.
We are who we’re meant to be in this very moment.
There is nothing wrong with you.
There is nothing wrong with your body.
You are worthy. You are enough.
You are beautiful, already, right now.
You don’t need to believe the bullshit any longer.

REVIEWS NOW IN FOR THE THING ABOUT THIN:
“‘The Thing about Thin’ goes deeper than any book on eating disorders and recovery I’ve ever read before. It doesn’t just stop with learning to accept yourself as you are and feel good about being you again. It goes there, sure, but then it keeps going– right through to what really matters. It acknowledges that there’s a damn good reason we all need to wake up and love ourselves– regardless of whether we see ourselves as fat, thin or anything in between. The thing about ‘The Thing about Thin’ is that regardless of your relationship to food and dieting, it might well change your life to read.”
